Kandice and her husband, Matt, have one child. Kandice is new at this “mom’ing” thing. She is excited for her family to be involved in Montessori and the community that comes along with it.
A little bit about her professionally, she is the executive director for a nonprofit in town called Scott County Hospitality House. It is an organization that works with the homeless in our community, specifically with women and children. She is the president of the Georgetown-Scott County Community Connections board. This is an organization that prides itself in “connecting people to people, agency to agency, and need to solution.” She graduated from Leadership Scott County in 2015, then went on to chair the steering committee for the following class 2015-2016. She is now involved with Leadership Central Kentucky for the next year. She serves as Vice President for the local chapter of BNI (Business Networking International).
Outside of work, she enjoys being a mom, gardening, eating healthy, baking, doing research, reading, diy-ing, and being social. Her current project is their 100 year old home they just purchased.
